I live close to Chicago… but when I am asked to go to or present, I hesitate. I am afraid. Not of the people or the city, but the commute. I had an hour presentation last week. It was not a paid gig, so I spent 2 hours driving in and 1.5 hours leaving. That means I had a 4 & 1/2 hour sales pitch or sales call. Sometimes it can be worth it, but only you can make that call!
