Face to Face networking can definitely get a boost from social networking. Post links to your meetings on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn at least a few hours before you get there. Check in via Facebook or Foursquare once you get there. Then post pictures on your social networks afterwards. By letting people know where and when you are networking, it might just prompt them to join in!
